The client for House Glenny is a graduate in fine arts and played an integral role in the design brief.  The final design emphasises creativity in simplicity through carefully combined material palettes with volumetric collaborations.

The main house is split level with a combination of steel and timber stairs leading the visitor either down into the open plan entertainment areas or up into the living areas. A natural separation of private and public is achieved through this ergonomic direction. The building itself sits fondly within the landscape and is tucked into the natural contours, taking full advantage of the forested valley views and golf course below.
